About Rachel Patterson
I am a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor (License #73790) in the state of Texas. Although my current focus is depth-oriented work with adult individuals, I have provided individual and group therapy in academic, agency, treatment center, and private-practice settings.
I have a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Growing up in Hawaii, attending school in Upstate New York, and settling down in Austin has allowed me to develop a strong and deep appreciation for all forms of diversity.
I am committed to maintaining my professional competence through regular consultation, continuing education, and rigorous physical, mental, and emotional self-care.
